Rightist MKs threaten Temple Mount trips after police ban

Right-wing Knesset members threatened to organize visits to the Temple Mount on Wednesday after police suspended visits by Jews and Christians to the holy site earlier in the day due to fear of Palestinian riots....
Israeli officials have become increasingly concerned in recent days that violence could erupt at the holy site, as the matter has received a lot of coverage in the Palestinian media and has also drawn harsh comments from Palestinian public figures, specifically Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat, who warned last week of "grave consequences" if Israel continues to allow Jews to visit the Temple Mount.
Israel changed its Temple Mount policy two weeks ago, when it allowed kippa-wearing Jews to enter the compound. The change came several weeks after the resumption of visits by tourist groups and non-kippa-wearing Jews.
Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas called the Israeli act "provocative," and Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa denounced the developments as "very dangerous" and "an insult to Muslims everywhere."
Arafat termed the change of policy an "invasion of extremists disguised as tourists, under auspices of the Israeli police," and convened a meeting with Waqf (Muslim trust) officials at his Muqata headquarters compound in Ramallah.
Arafat also issued calls to Arab League leaders and Arab heads of state to intervene and "prevent dangerous developments on the mount, which may affect the peace process."

The Jerusalem screening of the Discovery Channel documentary James, Brother of Jesus and the heated panel discussion that followed provided plenty of fireworks but no clear answers....

Note: according to the theory of Sir Robert Anderson the decree of Nehemiah was on March14th 445BC. This brings the resurrection date to Sunday 13th April 32AD; now add 720050 days and we come to 16 September 2003. This day could mark the last day of the Church Age.

Why did you add 50 days to the 720000?
To me, an interesting thing to consider now is that 50 days before the Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, 5764 (Sept. 27, 2003) is Av 10, (Aug. 8), when both Solomon and Herod's temples were burned. In 70 AD, the fire was set on temple grounds on Av 9. It burned into the temple proper on Av 10.
Jer 52:12,13 says, "in the fifth month (Av), in the TENTH DAY of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, which served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem, And burned the house of the LORD."
Since we are the spiritual temple of the Holy Spirit, I have wondered if we would be raptured, go up to meet Jesus in the clouds, as the smoke of both temples went up on Av 10 (Fri. Aug. 8 in 2003). I'll be watching to see if we get a sign 7 days before that, on this Fri., Aug. 1.

I don't agree with "the theory of Sir Robert Anderson" concerning the date of the Crucifixion.
The Lord told us that Cyrus issued the decree he was talking about, not Nehemiah. In Isa 44:28, we see that the LORD "saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid."
In "The Romance of Bible Chronology," Martin Anstey said that he found an 82-year mistake in the era of the Persian Kings. BC 536 - 82 = BC 454, when the decree went forth.
Dan. 9:25,26 says, "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem (BC 454) unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks (49 years), and threescore and two weeks (434 years, i.e., 49 + 434 = 483 years): the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks (i.e., after 483 years) shall Messiah be cut off (karath, killed), but not for himself" (for us).
483 - 454 + 1 (because no zero year) = 30 AD, the year of the Crucifixion. Agape

Regarding some of the gematria that adds to the year 2003, consider this. Remember that Bonnie Gaunt pointed out that the phrase that says "And Boaz took Ruth to be his wife" adds to 2003. Also one of the gematria in the first post indicated 2003.
Pentecost of 2003 has come and gone.
BUT, consider this. Our current calendar starts with 1 AD. When going from 1 BC to 1 AD only one year is counted.
However, there was a year 0. O is part of the calendar, just as the year 10 AD or 2000 AD is.
Therefore, since our calendar counters skipped one year we are ONE YEAR OFF. That is, Pentecost of 2004, which is coming up is really Pentecost of 2003.
I say watch all the time, but especially watch for Pentecost of 2004 (really 2003) and a possible CALL or MIDNIGHT CRY at Passover of 2004, since as I indicated in the first post, the Call of the Bride is clearly indicated in Song of Solomon that is read at Passover. Ruth is read on Pentecost. Boaz marries Ruth in that book. CAPS

The news items in your last Pro/Con about the number of stars and the number of grains of sand was especially intriguing to me. Not only did God make the galaxies of stars and set them in their places, but He also called each one by name (Psalm 147:4). What an awesome God! In the same way all the spiritual descendents of Abraham, though they are more in number than the stars, each one is also called by name. God knows each of His children intimately and personally, even though there are millions upon millions of them. I was so moved as I reflected upon the article that I wrote this poem, which I trust will be a blessing.

I think the 7 kings are the leaders of these 7 kingdoms:
(1) Babel (Nimrod was Pontifex Maximus of the Mystery Religion of Babylon)
(2) Babylon II (Nebuchadnezzar was Pontifex Maximus)
(3) Media-Persia (Cyrus was Pontifex Maximus)
(4) Greece (Alexander the Great was Pontifex Maximus)
(5) Imperial Rome (each of the Caesars were Pontifex Maximus)
(6) Ecclesiastic Rome (each Pope is Pontifex Maximus)
(7) Babylon II (False Prophet will be Pontifex Maximus)
Rev. 17 is written as if the Pre-Trib Rapture has just taken place. Verse14 says, "he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that ARE WITH HIM are called, and chosen, and faithful."
At the time of the Rapture, five kingdoms have fallen:
(1) Babel
(2) Babylon II
(3) Media-Persia
(4) Greece
(5) Imperial Rome
One is:
(6) Ecclesiastic Rome (the Beast, the Tribulation Pope)
The other is yet to come:
(7) Babylon III (the False Prophet)
Notice that on the day of the Rapture, the Tribulation Pope is already in office--"one is."
I think the 7-year covenant of Dan. 9:27 is still future and will be signed by MANY, not just Arafat and the Pope. The UN may be included. Don't you think that Israel would have to sign it?
The 1260, 1290 and 1335 days all start Mid-Trib, when the False Prophet sits in the temple "shewing himself that he is God" (II Thess. 2:4). Since the 1260-day Great Tribulation is to be shortened, maybe the 1290 and 1335 days will be too. We are not told that, though.
It seems that the two witnesses will come back with Christ when he comes for his Bride. They will prophesy 1260 days, the first half of the Tribulation, and will be killed Mid-Trib. Mal. 4:5 says, "I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD." The first day of the Millennium is the Day of God's Wrath, the Day of Destruction.
I expect Christ to return to Earth on the first day of the Jewish Regnal and Sacred Year, Nisan 1. It is April 6 in 2008, the anniversary of the Crucifixion on our calendar.

This is Satan. He WAS in Judas Iscariot in 30 AD. He is not in man now, and yet he exists. He will go into the son of perdition, the False Prophet. When the False Prophet is deposed from office on the Day of God's Wrath, Satan will leave him and operate on his own as "the eighth." The eighth and the tail of the Great Red Dragon are the same--Satan himself.

To me, Babylon and the USA have nothing to do with this. The Greek word translated "falling away" is apostasia, DEPARTURE. It is the Rapture that precedes the revealing of the son of perdition, the False Prophet. The Holy Spirit in the salt of the Earth (believers) restrains the False Prophet from being revealed until after the Rapture, just as salt retards the growth of yeast in bread. Agape
Marilyn, you said there "was no year" 0. I know that. Did you read what I said? There is a year 0. The calendar keepers decided to not count it, that's all.
If the current calendar authorities decided we would go from 1999 to 2001, would that mean there was no year 2000?? OF COURSE NOT!! Likewise, just because the calendar keepers decided to not count the year 0, does not mean they were accurate in doing so!! The number 0, 10, 100, 2000 are the sequence on the number line.

The Roman years were in orderly progression, as were the Jewish Years. These kept the numerical order of actual years straight. The Roman years, and their counterparts, run as follows.

In the modern calendar, we label all years with B.C. (before Christ) or A.D. (anno domini, or "in the year of our lord"). There is no "zero" year.

The "flying roll" (mgillah, rolling thing) of Zech. 5:1 is up in the sky.
I think "THE CURSE THAT GOETH FORTH OVER THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH" of Zech. 5:1-4 is a binary asteroid, twice as long as wide, whose orbit around the Sun is outside Earth's orbit. Each of the 2 stone parts represent the same thing as the 2 stone tablets that Moses smashed. On each of those stone tablets were written 5 commandments.
This agrees with v. 3. It says, "Then said he unto me, This is THE CURSE that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth (as the False Prophet will, breaking one of the 10 commandments) shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth (shaba, to seven oneself, swear, take an oath, as if by repeating a declaration seven times; i.e., the Tribulation Pope will claim infallibility) shall be cut off as on that side according to it."
Verse 4 says, "I will bring it (the binary asteroid of Rev. 8:8,10) forth, saith the LORD of hosts (Christ the Redeemer, Isa. 44:6), and it shall enter into the house of the THIEF (the False Prophet), and into the house of him that SWEARETH FALSELY BY MY NAME (the Beast of Rev. 13:2-10, the Tribulation Pope--claiming infallibility): and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof."
In verses 5-11, we learn that the ephah, largest wheat measure, i.e., the largest church, the world church, will be moved to Babylon in the land of Shinar, where the Tower of Babel was begun and the Mystery Religion of Babylon set up. This is where the world capitol will be built. It will be destroyed by the asteroid on the Feast of Trumpets that is the Day of God's Wrath.
Rev. 18:21 ties in. It says, "a mighty angel took up a STONE like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all." Agape
On August 27, Mars will come with 34,649,589 miles and will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky. It will attain a magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. At a modest 75-power magnification Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. Mars will be easy to spot. At the beginning of August, Mars will rise in the east at 10 pm and reach its azimuth at about 3 am. But by the end of August when the two planets are closest, Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its highest point in the sky at 12:30 am. That's pretty convenient when it comes to seeing something that no human has seen in recorded history. So mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month.
Luke 21:25: "And there will be strange events in the skies – signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And down here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides."
