The title of this article is ARAFAT "SADDENED" BY NEWS OF SADDAM'S CAPTURE. Interviews with Palestinians who call this "a black day" for Islam, a "catastrophe!"

Never again will Saddam be able to give $25,000.00 to Muslim families when a kid blows him/herself up with Israeli school busses, Passover Seders, Pizza Parlors, etc. ---or even the three Americans that came to help the Palestinians.

Incoming email, Re: Rev. 20:4)

God bless you and Ed :o)
Can you help me with this: in Revelation 20:4........"and I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ of a thousand years". (emphasis mine).

Who are the souls of those who had been beheaded? are these the tribulation saints? if so, are there some who will be beheaded and others who will be raptured, alive, in the 2nd pre-wrath rapture?

And, if so, what/who determines who is beheaded and who is kept alive to be raptured in the 2nd /pre-wrath rapture?

tks so much, Marilyn. God bless

My reply

> > Who are the souls of those who had been beheaded? are these the tribulation saints?

Yes. I think all the seals are opened during the Tribulation. Rev. 6:9-11 says, "when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."

> > if so, are there some who will be beheaded and others who will be raptured, alive, in the 2nd pre-wrath rapture?

Yes, I don't think the 144,000 Israelites will die before the 2nd Rapture takes place.

> > if so, what/who determines who is beheaded and who is kept alive to be raptured in the 2nd /pre-wrath rapture?

That, I don't know. A fourth part of the inhabitants on the Earth will die though. Rev 6:8 says, "I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death (the False Prophet), and Hell (Satan) followed with him. And power was given unto them over the FOURTH PART OF THE EARTH, TO KILL with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."

Isa 9:14 says, "Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head (the False Prophet) and tail (Satan), branch and rush, in one day (the Day of God's Wrath). The ancient and honourable (probably the Tribulation Pope), he is the head (6th head of the great red dragon (Rev. 17:10); and the prophet that teacheth lies (Rev. 13:11f), he is the tail." He is both the 7th head and the tail, because he is Satan-possessed.

He goes into the 2nd Son of Perdition. (Judas Iscariot was the 1st.) After God's Wrath is poured out, the tail (Satan) will operate on his own as the "eighth" (Rev. 17:11). Agape

Incoming email, Re: CRUCIFIXION

> WAS THE CRUCIFIXION ON WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY OR FRIDAY?
> According to Jewish Calendar rules, Passover can only be on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. This rules out a Wednesday Crucifixion.

Please forget the Jewish Calendar and go and find God's Calendar and you will find CRUCIFIXION ON WEDNESDAY and Raised on Saturday just before the sun went down. Jewish people start their day at 6:00pm but GOD started his day at sundown. We need to get away from the traditions of man.

What do we do follow traditions of man or GOD'S Word?

Genesis 1:14-19 14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

The Jewish people could not buy or trade on a Sabbath day IT WAS A COMMANDMENT THAT THEY COULD NOT WORK ON THE SABBATH DAY. Exodus 20:8-11 8Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Mark 16 1And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. (Wednesday Crucifixion, Thrusday High Sabbath They Rested, Friday BOUGHT SPICES, WeeklY Sabbath They rested) THE SPIICES HAD TO BE BOUGHT ON A FRIDAY.

Matthew 28 1In the end of the sabbath,(SUNDOWN) as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. 2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: 4And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. 5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. (This was the weekly Sabbath) (They went to the sepulchre at sundown after the Sabbath was past HE was not their HE had ALREADY RISEN)

If the Lord was Crucifed on Thrusday when did Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, HAVE TIME TO BUY SPICES that they might come and anoint him?

Their had to be a day between the two Sabbaths so they could buy the spices.

Jesus had to be in the ground befour the Sabbath started at sundown.

Matthew 27 57When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple: 58He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. 59And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. 61And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre. (THEY COULD NOT BUY THE SPICES ON THE SABBATH DAY)

62Now the next day,(A SABBATH DAY) that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 63Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. 64Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. 65Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. 66So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

Joseph put Jesus in the sepulchre just before sundown on wednesday.

Matthew 27 57When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple: 58He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. 59And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

Jesus was raised just before sundown on saturday.

Thank you

My reply

You have lots of the puzzle pieces already. If I just give you a few more, I think you will understand my position.

A Thursday Crucifixion satisfies all the requirements. Wednesday doesn't. Neither does Friday. All the clues are not in one place. We have to put the accounts in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John together to get the whole picture. This is deliberate, so "none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand" (Dan. 12:10). 1Cor. 1:18 says, "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish FOOLISHNESS; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."

> > Jewish people start their day at 6:00pm but GOD started his day at sundown. We need to get away from the traditions of man.
> > What do we do follow traditions of man or GOD'S Word?

I follow God's Word. Jesus is God. In John 11:9, "Jesus answered, Are there not TWELVE HOURS IN THE DAY? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world."

Twelve hours in the day during Jesus' ministry means that there were also 12 hours of the night. This formula is an average and does not change from day to day as the time of sunrise and sunset varies with the seasons.

> > Mark 16 1And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. (Wednesday Crucifixion, Thrusday High Sabbath They Rested, Friday BOUGHT SPICES, WeeklY Sabbath They rested) THE SPICES HAD TO BE BOUGHT ON A FRIDAY.

Lev. 23:5,6 says, "In the FOURTEENTH day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover. And on the FIFTEENTH day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread." There cannot be a day in between these two sabbaths. In 30 AD, Nisan 14 was Friday. Nisan 15 was Saturday. There couldn't have been an extra day between them. Whatever day Nisan 14 falls on, Nisan 15 always falls on the very next day.

Luke 23:52-56; 24:1 says that Joseph Arimathaea "begged the body of Jesus. And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. And that day (Crucifixion Day) was the PREPARATION (Thursday, Nisan 13), and the sabbath (the 'high day,' Passover, Friday, Nisan 14) drew on. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared (i.e., before 6 PM) spices and ointments (evidently what they already had on hand, which was not enough); and rested the sabbath day (Saturday) according to the commandment (one of the 10 commandments, Ex. 20:10). Now upon the first day of the week (Sunday), very early in the MORNING (near dawn), they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared."

Mark 16:1 fills in the picture for us. It says, "WHEN THE SABBATH (Saturday) WAS PAST, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had BOUGHT SWEET SPICES, that they might come and anoint him."

After 6 PM on Saturday, the women bought additional spices. If there had been a day between the feasts of Passover and Unleavened Bread, the women could have gone to the tomb that day instead of Sunday morning.

On "the preparation of the passover," things could be bought. Mark 15:46 says that Joseph "BOUGHT fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre."

The women waited until after 6 PM Saturday evening to buy more spices than they had prepared before 6 PM on Preparation Day, Thursday. I assume that they ran out of time.

It is my understanding that spices would have been applied ONLY within the first three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In John 11:39, "Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him (Lazarus) that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead FOUR DAYS."

> > Matthew 28 1In the end of the sabbath,(SUNDOWN) as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
> > (They went to the sepulchre at sundown after the Sabbath was past HE was not their HE had ALREADY RISEN)

In Mt. 28:1, the word translated "sabbath" is plural. There were two sabbath days together, Nisan 14 and 15, both feast days. The women kept them both.

They could not have gone to the sepulchre at sundown Saturday. The qualifier said, "AS IT BEGAN TO DAWN." It does not dawn at sundown. It dawns at sunrise. They came as the sun began to rise early on Sunday morning. It was still dark, but evidently the sky was beginning to brighten. They could tell that dawn was near.

Luke 24:1 says, "Now upon the first day of the week (Sunday), very early in the MORNING, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared." John 20:1 says, "The first day of the week (Sunday) cometh Mary Magdalene early, WHEN IT WAS YET DARK."

> > If the Lord was Crucifed on Thrusday when did Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, HAVE TIME TO BUY SPICES

After 6 PM on Saturday. Mark 16:1 says, "when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had BOUGHT sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him."

> > Their had to be a day between the two Sabbaths so they could buy the spices.

There couldn't be a day between Passover (Nisan 14) and Unleavened Bread (Nisan 15, Lev. 23:5,6).

> > Joseph put Jesus in the sepulchre just before sundown on wednesday.

Friday was the Passover. Therefore, "the preparation of the passover" (John 19:14) was Thursday. Jesus was crucified on Preparation Day. He was buried before 6 PM Thursday.

> > Jesus was raised just before sundown on saturday.

Mark 16:9 says, "JESUS WAS RISEN EARLY THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK." He arose Sunday. Therefore, it was AFTER sundown on Saturday. Agape

PS: Josephus (Ant. III.X. 5) shows that the three feasts fall on three successive days, Nisan 14, 15 and 16. There were no days in between. He said, "...Nisan, and is the beginning of our year, ON THE FOURTEENTH DAY of the lunar month, when the sun is in Aries...THE PASSOVER....THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD succeeds that of the PASSOVER, and falls ON THE FIFTEENTH DAY OF THE MONTH, and continues seven says...But ON THE...SECOND DAY OF UNLEAVENED BREAD, WHICH IS THE SIXTEENTH day of the month, they first partake of the fruits of the earth, for before that day (Feast of FIRSTFRUITS) they do not touch them."

The "Tractate Sanhedrin" in the Babylonian Talmud even says, "ON THE EVE OF PASSOVER YESHU WAS HANGED" (Sanhedrin 43a GBT VII. p. 181; SBT pg. 281).

...Right after the Oslo "peace" process went public, I interviewed Ron Pundak, one of the two academics Beilin shipped to Oslo to negotiate Israel's final war of destruction. Among the many things Pundak told me was, "Beilin doesn't believe in borders. He believes they are the cause of war. Israel can only live in peace if it eliminates its borders."...

But Peres' New Middle East was the same idea. Israel eliminates its borders and becomes the New Jersey Turnpike of the Middle East, a good place to stop for trucks going from Morocco to Iran. Out of this vision, Israel has built a toll road through the center of the country. It's mostly empty now, but the motels will be built when the Middle East becomes one big bloc of the world government.

Incoming email, Re: Crucifixion PS

Believe it or not I do understand what you are saying and how it could be possible to see this in the scripture, but we need to go back to the word of GOD back to the laws of GOD. You said Jesus was GOD, I believe that also, Jesus said I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE, but according to John 1:1

He was the word of GOD, and I believe that Jesus was the spoken word that came out of the mouth of THE FATHER and the word became flesh and dwelt among us, I believe when GOD said Let there be light: that it was the Spiritual CHRIST being born on this earth, the light of HIS word that flooded the whole world. The words that you speak are you, making you and your word as one, and the words that I speak is me, making me and my word as one. GOD said 6For I am the LORD, I change not; Malachi 3:6. If GOD does not change then maybe we should. We need to let God be the father of our words and not ourselves. Any way i sending another study not one of mine but by Roy A. Reinhold.
Thank you so much

> > I believe when GOD said Let there be light: that it was the Spiritual CHRIST being born on this earth, the light of HIS word that flooded the whole world.

Are you saying that the God that was in Jesus was "light"? the same thing that had been on Earth ever since Gen. 1:3? That's too close to the Masonic belief in the light behind the compass and square. That turns out to be Lucifer, Satan.

Isa. 14:12-15 says, "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer (heylel, Hell, to shine, rave, boast, be clamorously foolish, i.e., Satan), son of the morning (shachar yalal, early howling)! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH (YHVH of hosts, the Redeemer, i.e., Christ, Isa. 44:6). Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."

Rev. 6:8 says, "behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death (the False Prophet), and Hell (Satan) followed with him."

In Luke 10:18, Jesus said, "I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." How could he have seen Satan fall unless he is greater than Satan and more than light?

1Co 15:47 says, "The first man (Adam, 'son of God.' Luke 3:38) is of the earth, earthy: the second man (Jesus, Son of God) is the LORD FROM HEAVEN."

Isa. 44:6 says, "Thus saith the LORD (YHVH) the King of Israel, AND his REDEEMER the LORD (YHVH) of hosts; I am the first (YHVH King of Israel), AND I am the last (YHVH of hosts); and BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD." Lucifer is not God. YHVH of hosts, the Redeemer, is God.

"Thus saith the LORD (YHVH) THY REDEEMER (the pre-incarnate Christ), and he that formed thee from the womb, I AM THE LORD (YHVH) THAT MAKETH ALL THINGS; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself" (Isa. 44:24).

Our Redeemer is the Creator. "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made" (John 1:3). He speaks the word of God, because he is God.

In Rev. 22:13, Jesus said, "I am Alpha (YHVH King of Israel) AND Omega (YHVH of hosts, the Redeemer), the beginning (LORD of the Old Testament) AND the end (Lord of the New Testament), the first AND the last....I am the root (YHVH King of Israel) AND the offspring of David (Jesus)".

Isa. 9:6 says, "unto us a child is born (Jesus' human nature, inherited from his mother), unto us a son is given (his deity, inherited from his Father): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace." Prov. 30:4 says, "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name (YHVH), and what is his son's name (YHVH of hosts, Yeshua, Jesus), if thou canst tell?"

> > Good Friday is a Myth, Jesus Died on a Wednesday
by Roy A. Reinhold http://www.ad2004.com/

> > "How could Jesus have been in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights if He died on a Friday afternoon and rose before sunrise on a Sunday?"

He was crucified on "the preparation of the passover," Thursday. The 3 days and 3 nights were: Thursday (day 1), Friday (night 1 and day 2), Saturday (night 2 and day 3) and Sunday (night 3).

All four gospels agree that Crucifixion Day was "the preparation of the passover."

Mt 27:62-64 says, "Now the NEXT DAY (Friday, Nisan 14, Passover), that followed the day of THE PREPARATION (Thursday, Nisan 13, Crucifixion Day), the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the THIRD DAY" ("the next day," Friday, plus Saturday and SUNDAY, the third day).

Mark 15:4243 says, "now when the even was come (3-6 PM Thursday), because it (Thursday) was THE PREPARATION, that is, the day before the sabbath" (Friday, the 'high day,' the Passover Sabbath), Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus."

Luke 23:53,54 says, "he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. And that day (Thursday) was THE PREPARATION, and the sabbath (Passover, the 'high day' Sabbath) drew on."

John 19:14 says, "it was THE PREPARATION OF THE PASSOVER, and about the sixth hour (Roman time, 9 PM): and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!"

John 19:42 says, "There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' PREPARATION DAY; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand."

> > The lamb was killed between 3 and 6 PM on the afternoon of the 14th of Abib/Nisan

It had to be between 3 and 6 PM on the 13th. When the Israelites were in Egypt, if they had waited to put the blood on their door frames on the afternoon of the 14th, their firstborn would have died the previous midnight. The Jewish day of Nisah 14 began at 6 PM on the 13th. The death angel came 6 hours later, at midnight.

> > The Passover was not an annual Sabbath or a day of rest, but was an important religious observance in which to remember that the blood of the lamb on the doorposts of their houses kept them alive when the angel of death passed by, and that God had delivered them from slavery in Egypt.

All Feasts are Sabbaths of rest, Holy Convocations. Lev 23:4-8 says, "These are the FEASTS of the LORD, even HOLY CONVOCATIONS, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover (1st day of convocation). And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation (2nd day of convocation): ye shall do no servile work therein. But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation (3rd day of convocation): ye shall do no servile work therein."

Lev. 23:37-39 says, "These are the FEASTS of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be HOLY CONVOCATIONS. Beside the SABBATHS of the LORD...also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month...on the first day shall be a SABBATH, and on the eighth day shall be a SABBATH." Sabbaths 8 days apart are not both Saturdays. All the feasts of the Lord are Sabbaths.

> > He said that He would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. This promise meant that 72 hours would pass from His death to His resurrection and that this would be the sign for the Jews that He was who He said He was (the Messiah)

He didn't say 72 hours. In Mt. 12:40, Jesus said, "as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." He mentioned "days" first, "nights" last. The 3 days and 3 nights started with day, Thursday, and ended with night, Sunday. The third day of Mt. 27:64 (above) was Sunday. Sunday was not counted as a full 24-hour day. Neither is Thursday here.

> > Therefore, the women saw Jesus' body being laid in the tomb on a Wednesday afternoon, they rested on the annual Sabbath on Thursday, and bought spices on Friday. They prepared the spices on Friday and then rested according to the commandment on the weekly Sabbath on Saturday. After the weekly Sabbath, they intended to anoint Jesus' body with the perfumes and spices. Therefore both intuitively and by evidence, we have proven that Passover was on a Wednesday, and that Jesus did as He had said, which was to rise again after three days and three nights.

If they had rested on Thursday, it would have been Nisan 14, and Friday, Nisan 15, would have also been a day of rest, since it would be the Feast of Unleavened Bread. There can't be a day between Nisan 14 and Nisan 15. Actually, in 30 AD, Nisan 13, 14, 15 and 16 were Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thursday was "the preparation of the passover." Friday was Passover. Saturday was the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Sunday was the Feast of Firstfruits. Jesus arose as the Firstfruit on the Feast of Firstfruits.

> > Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. Mark 16:9
> > The above text would seem to conclusively prove that Jesus rose early in the evening on the first day of the week, what we would call Saturday night. Some commentators have speculated that verses 9-20 of this chapter were later added since they weren't in any of the early manuscripts. Whether or not that is true, the reader ought to know that the meaning of a verse may be altered by the addition of a comma or a deletion. The original text did not have these punctuation marks in the Greek text, so they were added later. If a comma is added after risen, the verse takes on an entirely different meaning. Now after He had risen, early on the first day of the week He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. This change is not altering scripture since it was not written with punctuation marks.

Reinhold sure weasled around to evade the clear statement of Scripture that proved him wrong.

Here is what the Introduction to the Tischendorf New Testament says. "The ordinary conclusion to the Gospel of St. Mark, namely, xvi. 9--20, is found in more than five hundred Greek manuscripts, in the whole of the Syriac and Coptic, and most of the Latin manuscripts, and even in the Gothic version. But by Eusebius and Jerome (the former of whom died in the year 340) it is stated expressly that in nearly all the treustworthy copies of their time the Gospel ended with the 8th verse; and with this, of all existing known Greek manuscripts, only the Vatican and the Sinaitic now agree.

I'll go by the more than 500 manuscripts instead of the 2. I believe that Jesus said, "go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15).

> > The Last Supper was held on a Tuesday evening. On Wednesday the 14th of Nisan/Abib, Jesus was crucified, and died late in the afternoon.

According to Josephus, a Pharisee priest, Passover, Unleavened Bread, and Firstfruits were Nisan 14, 15, and 16. (Ant. III. X. 5). That would be Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Wednesday does not fit.

I think the Syriac is right. It says, "three days have passed since all these things have occurred." These three days were Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I don't believe that dawn is when it is getting dark. I think dawn is when it is getting light. Epiphosko means "a form of 2017; to begin to grow light:--begin to dawn" (Strong). No. 2017 is epiphauo, to illluminate. It is from epiphaino, to shine upon, lit., become visible. Reinhold's case fails. Agape
