It might be possible that the ten days start at the rapture. If Asension
Day is the day of our departure, the Holy Spirit will depart with us
allowing the evil one to rise to power. If the Holy Spirit returned ten
days later on Pentecost we would have a nice parallel with the birth of
the church. Tribulation would certainly be in abundance with out the
Holy Spirit to guide those left behind during that ten day stretch of time.

Sorry to be so long in getting back to you. This was in a file I was able to download from my server after I had to get a new computer.
I think you're right, the days between Ascension Day and Pentecost could fulfill Rev. 2:10 very well. It sounds like the most likely fit too, but I just hope we don't have to wait until next Pentecost.
According to Haggai 2:18,19, Kislev 24 seems to be the date of Jesus' conception. He is the foundation of the spiritual temple of the Holy Spirit. 1Co 3:11 says, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." Kislev 24 doesn't apply to when the first and second temples were started. Solomon started to build on Iyar 2 (I Kings 6:1; II Chron 3:2). The second temple foundation was laid in Iyar also (Ezra 3:8,11).
Haggai 2:18,19 says, "Consider (lit., take it to heart) now from this day and UPWARD, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month (Kislev 24), even from the day that the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider it. Is the seed (Jesus, Gen. 3:15) yet in the barn (a feminine word)? yea, as yet the vine (Jesus), and the fig tree (Israel), and the pomegranate, and the olive tree (Israel, but Gentiles can be grafted in), hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you." The next day is Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights when the oil for one day lasted eight days. That reminds me of the 5 wise virgins. It was important for them to have extra oil in their vessels (bodies) when the Bridegroom came. Did he arrive on Earth as the Seed on the Festival of Lights? I think so. That fits a Tishri 1 birth as the former rain just right. Agape

I was just scanning the internet, looking for information on the Rapture. I was thinking the date may be Aug 3, 2008, so I searched on the date and your site came up. I started to read through your stuff, but It was pretty involved. I was interested in the Days of Daniel, I think that they may point to the rapture. I think you are right, if you watch, you will be able to recognize the date and the season. I came upon the date above by a different means. I'm not a great bible scholar, but I've noticed that the bible repeats itself. My thinking is that there are 5 basic time periods that apply to people, Moses and the Law, The Church, The Tribulation, The 1000 years and Hell. I take the bible to apply to everyone, so I think that the prophecies end up the same in each period. I think they tell you the period they apply literally to, but also apply figuratively to the others. For instance, the literal antichrist will appear in the tribulation, but there are antichrists today in a more figurative sense. People have been adding up names to total 666 for a long time, I think they were right, they had found an antichrist, just not "the" antichrist. Anyway, with my line of thinking, all of these time periods end with the return of Christ. He was born/Crucified ending the time of the Law, he will rapture the church ending this time period, he will come at armegeddon ending the tribulation and will come for the final judgement. The sign that caught my attention was during the crucifixion the sun darkened. I attribute this to a total eclipse, symbolically the time the moon (symbol of Satan and the night) blocks the Sun (Son) from view. The next total eclipse happens on Aug 1, 2008. Coincedently, this is on a Friday. Since the tomb was found empty on Sunday morning, He arose sometime Saturday night/Early Sunday morning. If this pattern holds true then the Time of the rapture would be the same, Late Saturday night to early Sunday morning Aug 3, 2008. Just a thought, but I was wondering what you thought of it.
Also, as far as signs go, when Jesus was born there were 3 Kings that came to him. I think the AntiChrist will also have 3 Kings. My guess would be the Royal family. When the Queen dies, Charles would be King, I think he'd turn it down, then William, I think He'd turn it down (He has had a head would by the way) then the final King would be Harry. Perhaps Harry will become the head of the European Union, I'm pretty sure he's already working on a deal in the middle east. Who better to broker a deal on the temple then the EU with their heavy Muslim support. I think after the Rapture, the New Pope will be left behind. He will claim that since the Jews are still here and that he is still here that he heads the true religion. He will become the head of the False "One World" church and become the pawn of Harry and the EU. I think he will change his name to Peter II, taking the least used name and making the names and the number of times used equal to 666.
As I said, I'm not a bible scholar, but I do believe that there are signs everywhere if people just had the faith to look for them. The next Harry Potter book is the Half-Blood Prince, Tom Hanks will star in the Davinci Code. These types of stories prepare people for what they think will be the coming of a new King Arthur, or a New Messiah. They will watch for one to be born from a "secret" bloodline rather then watching for the true Messiah to return for the Church, then again at Armegeddon. Coincedently, Harry (could be the name of the Anti-Christ) and Potter (the money gained from betraying Christ was used to buy Potter's field), seems almost too perfect. And since I'm not really a believer in coincedence, but rather in a divine plan that is intended to point to Christ's return, I just wondered if other people see these things....

I'll share my beliefs with you. I think there are seven 1000-year great days in The Great Week of Time. Within this framework, I think there are three 2000-year ages, the Age of the Gentiles, the Age of the Jews and the Age of the Church. 1Cor 10:32 names all three. It says, "Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God."
After the normal end of the Age of the Church, there is a waiting period (we are living in it now), then after the Pre-Trib Rapture, there will be the Tribulation, which is THE ENDS OF THE AGES. The 2000-year ages are extended by the waiting period plus 7 years. The Millennium will begin on the day the Great Tribulation is shortened.
I Cor. 10:11 (LITV) says, "all these things happened to those as examples, and it was written for our warning, on whom THE ENDS OF THE AGES have come." Dan. 9:27 speaks of what will take place in the 7-year End of the Age of the Jews. I think the ends of the other two ages will run concurrent with the End of the Age of the Jews.
Rev 3:10 (KJV) calls this period of time "the hour of temptation." This scripture says, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience (hupomone, patient continuence, waiting), I also will keep thee from THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION (peirasmos, trial, putting to proof), WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
The Millennium will start on the day the Tribulation is shortened and will last 1000 years. After the Millennium, the Great White Throne Judgment will take place.

I think the destruction that will come at the end of the shortened Tribulation will precede the Second Advent of Christ by 7 months (Eze. 38:18-20; 39:12,13). I believe that Armageddon will start as soon as Christ takes dominion away from Satan at the Judgment of the Nations.

I think the darkness was supernatural. There wasn't an eclipse at the time of the Crucifixion. Passover is at the time of the Full Moon. A solar eclipse can only happen at the dark of the Moon, i.e., the first of the Jewish month. I think the Crucifixion was on Thursday, April 6, 30 AD (Julian).

I think the Resurrection was Sunday night. Remember that the night comes before the day for the Jews. Their days start at 6 PM on our previous day. The Jews count part of a day as a whole day, even saying that a newborn is 1 year old. He is called 1 year old throughout his first year. Jesus was in the heart of the Earth three days and three nights. They were Thursday (day), Friday (night then day), Saturday (night then day), and Sunday (night).
I sure hope the Rapture is closer than Aug 3, 2008. I'm hoping for Hanukkah this year. See the top article on my Home Page.

The Bible doesn't say how many kings came to see Jesus. It looks like the Pope that doesn't go to Heaven in the Pre-Trib Rapture will be the Beast of Rev. 13:3-10.
Rev 13:8,9 says, "And all that dwell upon the earth shall WORSHIP HIM, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear."
Isa 9:15 says, "The ancient and honourable (fits the Pope), he is the head (6th head of the great red dragon); and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail" (the 7th head, the False Prophet that the tail, Satan, also called the 8th in Rev. 17, enters into).

I think you are over reading what i was saying. I recall about 4 or so years ago there was a very rare book collection of old book sold. From that i and everyone found out that in it was some of these old books with some of them Witch books 1st copys. also from that sell fouund that there was only 12 or so collectors in the world that had the money to by these books.
Now if i want to know something about a football team i would talk with the team and then talk with the team playing them. you get both sides of what is happening. just as we have Gods side of what will happen and when what if we had the words of the other side of the what and when? And that would be in a witch book would it not? noone said you had to read them but someone that has these books must have read them or why collect them? So somewere there must be what is in these books.
I was also thinking of storys from Japan, China, India, North and South America there are many old writings that talk about end times or the coming of a Go of some kind. I would think if all of man kind is going to take part in this tha God would have told them all not just Jews!
If you go to court to say something you get facts from many places so why not the end times from many places also? And if there realy is not other places of end times then i would have to ask why not?
Do not take this as me not beliving for i do and maybe more than you or of most people. With all the books the church had burned, i would have to ask them the why of that. With all the books in Rome church I would think there may be a book there from out side the good book that would talk about end times, and by the way they have these old whitch books there! If only i known the names of these books i would tell you them but i do not know. So if Rome can read these book why not you? There is a differents for reading these books and taking part in what they talk about. Knowing both sides helps anyone understand better of what is going on and the when. Without out knowing you only have 1/2 the story. Knowing is all power in life, like never bet on a mudder horse when its dry out! Only way of know is to get all facts from anywere you can get them!

Because God chose to do it his way. Romans 3:1,2 says, "What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God."
It is true that Satan may betray his knowledge in some books. However, he is the master of deception, so one has to be on his toes not to take him seriously. He is a liar from the beginning. I read what I could find at one time, and found out that in the end, it wasn't worth my time. So I quit spinning my wheels. Since Satan is a liar, you can't trust anything you find. God controlled what went into the Bible, for it is His Word. He also controlled what didn't go into the Bible.
The worst I have ever tried to read is the Book of Mormon. It sounds like Scripture's style, but it goes on and on without really saying anything. I gave up on that pretty quick. Real scripture is jam packed with information. Agape
