I wonder if this has been mistranslated. It would be true if it said that the sign is seen above the horizon. It is setting instead of rising.

I doubt that Jesus was born on Dec. 25. Rev 12:1-5 says, "there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars...And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.... And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne."

This sign is not present on Dec. 25, 2005. Below is the sky at 10 AM. The Sun is in Sagittarius, and the Moon is waning instead of being the new crescent Moon.The Moon is not at Virgo's feet, either. Nothing fits the sign in Rev. 12.

Below, the sign is showing perfectly on the night of Jesus' birth, This chart shows just before sundown on Monday, Tishri 1, 3757 (Sept. 4, 5 BC, Julian). The New Crescent Moon is visible and the Sun is in Virgo. Since the Civil New Year was set when the New Crescent Moon was sighted, it is Tishri 1.

Haggai 2:18,19 says, "CONSIDER now from this day and UPWARD, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month (Kislev 24), even from the day that the foundation (i.e., Jesus, for there is no other foundation, I Cor. 3:11) of the LORD'S temple was laid, CONSIDER IT. Is the seed (i.e., Jesus, seed of the woman, Gen. 3:15) yet in the barn (feminine word, referring to Jesus' conception)? yea (YES, i.e., conception has taken place), as yet the vine (Jesus), and the fig tree (Israel), and the pomegranate (Bride of Christ, Song of Solomon), and the olive tree (Israel, but the Gentiles can be grafted in), hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you."

1Co 3:11 says, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." We know that the literal foundations of the two temples are not what this is referring to, because both temples were begun in Iyar/Zif.

I Kings 6:37 says of the first temple, "In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Zif."

Ezra 3:8 says of the second temple, "Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month (Iyar/Zif), began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD."

Kislev 24 has to refer to Jesus as the foundation. He was conceived on Kislev 24. Adding 274 days for gestation brings us to Tishri 1 for his birth. That was when the sign of Rev. 12 was just right.

Some say that Jesus was born on Tabernacles, refering to John 1:14, but tabernacled means dwelt. He dwelt among us.

If we add 15 days to 274, we get 289 days for gestation. That is possible, but for boys, gestation is usually around 270 days, for girls, around 280. Let's see if the sign of Rev. 12 was present on the Feast of Tabernacles in 5 BC.

No. The Sun and Mercury are in Virgo, but the Moon is nowhere near. To me, these sky charts and Rev. 12 prove that Jesus was born on Tishri 1. The first Adam was created just before Tishri 1 began at 6 PM. The second Adam was born on Tishri 1. Agape

I think we will always see God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Rev 22:3-5 says, "there shall be no more curse: but THE THRONE (one throne) OF GOD AND OF THE LAMB shall be in it; and his (one person's) servants shall serve him (one person): And they shall see his face (one face); and his name (one name) shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever."

Isa. 44:6 says, "Thus saith the LORD (YHWH) the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD (YHWH) of hosts; I AM THE FIRST (YHWH, King of Israel), AND I AM THE LAST (YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer, i.e., the Lord Jesus Christ); and BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD." II Cor. 5:19 says, "GOD WAS IN CHRIST, RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO HIMSELF."

In Rev 1:8, the first chapter of Revelation, Jesus said, "I am Alpha AND Omega, the beginning AND the ending, saith the Lord, which is (at the Rapture), and which was (at the First Advent), and which is to come (at the Second Advent), THE ALMIGHTY."

In Rev. 22:13-16, the last chapter of Revelation, Jesus said, "I am Alpha AND Omega, the beginning AND the end, the first AND the last. Blessed are they that do HIS COMMANDMENTS (i.e., Jesus' commandments), that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. I Jesus have sent mine angel (the Angel of the Lord) to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root (YHWH) AND the offspring of David (Jesus), and the bright and morning star" (i.e., his throne is on Saturn, a morning star part of the year).

Isa 48:16-18 says, "Come ye near unto me, HEAR YE THIS; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD (the Father), and his Spirit (the Holy Spirit), hath sent me (Jesus the Redeemer). Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. O that thou hadst hearkened to MY COMMANDMENTS (i.e., at Mt. Sinai)! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea".

After the Rapture, John said, "immediately I was (lit., became) in the spirit: and, behold, A THRONE (one throne) was set in heaven, and one (i.e., one person who is both GOD AND THE LAMB) sat on THE THRONE. And HE (one person) that sat was to look upon like a jasper (first in the breastplate) and a sardine stone (last in the breastplate, i.e., Jesus Christ, both the first, YHWH King of Israel, and the last, YHWH of hosts, the Redeemer): and there was a rainbow (7 colors, i.e., 7 rings) round about the throne (Saturn, which has 7 rings, which like a rainbow, are made up of ice crystals), in sight like unto an emerald (Judah's stone) (Rev 4:2,3). Jesus Christ is the lion of the Tribe of Judah."

Rev 5:3-6 says, "And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. The vision of Nebuchadnezzar is also set in the latter days. Dan. 2:28 says, "there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be IN THE LATTER DAYS." The iron kingdom is the fourth kingdom--Rome. Imperial Rome ends and Ecclesiatic Rome continues. The toes are attached to the feet of Ecclesiastic Rome in the latter days.

Dan. 2:42-44 says, "And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron (i.e., Rome) mixed with miry clay (other countries on Earth), they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall NEVER be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand FOR EVER." The "days of these kings" butts up to Christ's millennial kingdom.

I don't believe that for one second. However, one U.S. President could be one horn. The world has been divided into ten regions. The ten kings that will be over the ten regions are the ten horns. When the Pre-Trib Rapture takes place, these ten have no kingdoms as yet. Rev. 17:12 says, "the ten horns which thou sawest are TEN KINGS, WHICH HAVE RECEIVED NO KINGDOM AS YET; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast." At this time, the Bride saints are already with the Lord. Verse 14 says of Jesus, "he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and THEY THAT ARE WITH HIM are called, and chosen, and faithful." > > Here is a thought, unlike tradition that says these empires are Assyria, Babylon, Greece and Rome, or even possibly the more current empires of England, Russia, Germany and the UN/US. Rev. 17:10:11 is set at the time when the Rapture has just taken place. It says, "And there are seven kings: FIVE ARE FALLEN (Babel, Babylon II, Media-Persia, Greece, Imperial Rome), and ONE IS (Ecclesiastical Rome, i.e., the Tribulation Pope, Rev. 13:3-10), and THE OTHER (Babylon III) IS NOT YET COME; and when he (the False Prophet, Rev. 13:11-18) cometh, he must continue a short space (the shortened Great Tribulation). And the beast that was (in Judas Iscariot), and is not (in man now), even he (Satan) is the eighth, and is of the seven (controls them), and goeth into perdition" (i.e., enters into the False Prophet, the second son of perdition--Judas Iscariot was the first son of perdition).

Rev. 17:5 reveals who started the false religion of Babylon. It says, "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." The Mystery religion started by Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz at the Tower of Babel kickstarted the false religion that will end in the final days of this age. Babylon III will be destroyed by the asteroid Wormwood.

Isa. 22:16-19 says, "What hast thou here (Babylon)? and whom hast thou here (the Satan-possessed False Prophet), that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he (Satan) that heweth him out a sepulchre on high (i.e., in the asteroid Wormwood), and that graveth an habitation for himself in A ROCK? Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. He will surely violently turn and TOSS THEE LIKE A BALL INTO A LARGE COUNTRY (not tiny Israel): there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house. And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down."

Rev. 18:21 says, "a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone (i.e., the asteroid, Wormwood), and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all."

Zech. 5:3,4 says, "This is the curse (i.e., the asteroid that is twice as long as wide) that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth (it orbits Earth): for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it (as if 5 commandments were on one piece of stone); and every one that sweareth (as if the other 5 commandments were on the other piece of stone) shall be cut off as on that side according to it. I will bring it (the asteroid Wormwood) forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief (i.e., the False Prophet), and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name (i.e., the Tribulation Pope): and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof." NIV. The KJV says, "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth"

The circle may not mean orbit, but the spherical shape, the way I take it.

Thanks. In the past, I have taken it as the sphere too, but now I think it means the orbit. The word translated circle is "chug," circle, circuit, compass. It sounds more like the orbit.

The word translated "sitteth" is ya^shab, properly to sit down (specifically as judge); by implication to dwell. Heaven is God's dwelling place. It also is where the Judgment Seat of Christ will take place.

The word translated "upon" is "al," above, over. Heaven is above, i.e., farther out in space than the orbit of the Earth. Agape

She tells about her 4 1/2-year-old granddaughter, Rebecca, one of her daughter’s three small children. The lady, whose name I will not divulge, says: In the past year, my daughter has prepared them for the rapture, saying simply, “Jesus is having a party for us in heaven… He’s coming to get us soon…” and words like, “It’s going to be a surprise… and ‘we’re going to have fun.” Nothing heavy, and not dwelling on it, just keeping them in remembrance occasionally, when it fits in.
Well, Sunday (November 21st) after dinner the middle child, Rebecca, said to her mother, “Mommy, when do you think Jesus is coming to get us for the party?”
Her mother said, “Oh, it could be very soon, ‘Becca.”

Rebecca said, “Well, I think it will be in 40 days.”

Her mother said, “You do?”

Rebecca said, “Yes, 40 days!”

Rebecca, at her age, has no idea how to figure days or months and has never heard of a “rapture” and certainly not dating. But she’s close to God.

Neither the letter writer and certainly not Rebecca knew that using Jewish inclusive counting, 40 days from November 21stt lands precisely on Hanakkuh, December 30, on the Jewish Calendar. I find this amazing, especially in view of the arguments for a Hanakkuh rapture

I sure hope we are on the last 40-day countdown now. The Rapture is as the days of Noah (Mt. 24:37f), and it began to rain on Cheshvan 17. Forty days later this year will be Kislev 27 (our Dec. 28), the 3rd day of Hanukkah, the Feast of Lights, the Dedication of the Temple. The wise virgins have to have enough oil to last through some period of time. Could it be three days?

In John 2:19-21, "Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and IN THREE DAYS I WILL RAISE IT UP. Then said the Jews, FORTY AND SIX YEARS was this temple in building, and wilt thou REAR IT UP (egeiro, TAKE IT UP AGAIN) in three days? But he spake of THE TEMPLE OF HIS BODY."

We are the Body of Christ and the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Will we be raised up on the third day of the Feast of Lights, the Dedication of the Temple? A multitude will be resurrected on the day of the Pre-Trib Rapture. Did those that came out of their graves on Resurrection Day (the third day "since" the Crucifixion) foreshadow the day that these will come out of their graves on the third day of Hanukkah?

The Sign of the End of the Age was the Six-Day War of 1967. Forty-six years later, by inclusive reckoning, will be 2012. Seven years from 2005 will be 2011, by inclusive reckoning. The last half of the Tribulation is to be shortened, so 5771, a Leap Year (2010/2011), might fit the end of the Age and the Tribulation just right. If the Pre-Trib Rapture takes place on Kislev 27, 5766 (Dec. 28, 2005), the Pre-Wrath Rapture could take place on Tishri 1, 5771 (Sept. 9, 2010). Christ could return seven months later (Eze. 39:12,13), on Nisan 1, 5771 (April 5, 2011).
