You are doing a real disservice to the body of Christ. With each new revelation and each new passing of your chosen rapture day you are adding fuel to the fire of those who look at us as idiots. Christ is coming back. You would be better off each moring picking that day's date as the day. Then you will eventually get it right. I believe that the Bible states that the proof that one is a prophet of God and that the message given is from God is the fact that it is 100 percent accurate. It is time for you to give up that act and clearly state that you have been used by Satan to bring shame on the body of Christ. You are wrong. Yes, Christ is coming back! In such an hour as YOU think not. Give it up and start living as the Bible tells us to live - Like each day is THE DAY!

I just want to clarify something.

I have always stated very clearly that I am not a prophet. I have said that I can make mistakes and told one glaring example. For a few years following June 5, 1968, I thought the Rapture of the Tribulation saints was in the middle of the Tribulation because I did not read Daniel 11 WITH Daniel 12. The chapter division threw me. I have said repeatedly that this is the way it looks to me, to search the scriptures and see if these things are so.

Before the Lord, do you still want to say, "you have been used by Satan to bring shame on the body of Christ"?

I've been thinking a lot about the rapture since I first found your web page. Although I've done so previously in past messages I've sent to you, let me say it again... thank you for all your hard work and time, and thank you for sharing it with the rest of us. I have a feeling that I'll be able to do this in person very soon.

I've analyzed me feelings/thoughts over the past three weeks, and have come to the following conclusions. I was expectant on May 31, but for some reason, as much as I wanted to believe it, I didn't FEEL (and I realize that basing conclusions on feelings is ripe with peril) that it would take place. Come June 7, I wasn't very expectant at all, nor was I on June 14, even though these dates all made sense to me, scripturally. Now that June 21 is at hand, I find myself becoming more expectant of the rapture.

I've been under spiritual attack almost constantly is various subtle ways (the direct assault doesn't work on me, so Satan is working on my in a more sneaky fashion). Why? I think the answer becomes clear that he is trying to get as many Christians to fall asleep as he can, so he can make them suffer during the tribulation. He wants the opportunity to kill as many of God's people as he can. I think these attacks come so frequent because he knows that the time of the rapture is soon. He will lose this fight, too, as I will not yield, nor will I be coaxed into falling asleep. My expectancy is higher now that it was for May 31. I think that June 21 is the day (or sometime on the 20th for us in the States).

The signs are there, and the timing couldn't be better. We have the y2k bug closing in, and regardless of what the media says, we aren't even close to being ready for it. Interestingly, as if the Lord was making a point, our electricity went out late last night. It rarely goes out, even if the worst of storms, but during last night's storm, it did. It stayed off until I was nearly ready to leave for work (which meant that I had to go to work "as is" ). In fact, we've been barraged with storms for, ironically, nearly three week off and on. I got a small taste of what it will be like if the y2k bug isn't solved. Electricity will be out of service, likely for a week or two, not just half the night. Then I got to thinking that this is only one small problem out of many that the y2k bug will cause. There simply isn't enough time to get everyone compliant, and since most systems are interconnected in some way, they ALL must be compliant (with the same standard fix), throughout the world, in order for things to keep on as usual. This is not going to happen. The only solution is to transfer to a new world-wide computer system that is not affected by the bug. Could this be the way the one-world system begins? It is odd that this problem has never been a secret. We've known about it for many years and until recently have done nothing to fix the code. In closing, I'm very expectant of this weekend. I pray the Lord find me (and my fiancée) worthy to be among his Bride. I also pray for my family and friends who may get left behind. While I have plenty to live for on this earth - including an upcoming marriage in September - I find that the things of the world don't sparkle nearly as bright as they used to. I tire of the world calling what is good evil and what is evil good. I discuss many political and spiritual issues daily, and find that the world is going farther and farther astray. It saddens me greatly. I'm ready to go and be with God. I hope He's ready to take me! Keep up the good work. If not this weekend, then soon. It can't be long now, IMO.

I know what a Christian is and was raised in the church Im 18 years old and no matter what I do, how I try, I always go back, I curse, and smoke, I dont live the life a Christian should live. I try to hold back my pride at church but have far to much of it and granted yes i go down on some alter calls, I have yet to do anything but cry. I guess the reason I am able to tell you this, is because I dont know you. I have had dreams in the last 6 months strange ones. I feel the pull in my heart and know what I should do, but I dont know how to do it. I felt as though the sermon last night was directed towards me, he kept saying how if you hold a grudge, you cant be one with God because there is some sort of resentment in your life. I try to get rid of my grudges I try but there are 2 against people that just wont go away. I used to pray to the father everynight but stopped and now I am trying to start up again I dont know what to do, how to pray what to pray. Help me please, I dont want to be lost in this world.

I also have a question. Now I know that no one wants to get stuck in the tribulations, but I always heard that once he came back, he separated himself from you if you didnt go with him. But now I hear that you still can be right with him or make yourself right with him during the tribulations. Whats the right answer?

If you have already accepted Christ, pray and confess all known sins since you accepted him. This way God will cleanse you from all unrighteousness. You can have a fresh start. You must let go of your grudges. We must forgive as we want to be forgiven. If you slip and sin, confess it immediately, I mean, right then. If the Rapture is this next weekend, we want to be as pure virgins in His sight. The Lord will forgive you during the Tribulation, but you will have missed winning the prize of being taken up before the worst seven years since Adam was left on Earth and risk having to be a martyr. That is a powerful incentive to get right with God right now. Yes, I think Christians can make it right quickly. Confess all known sins since becoming a Christian, forgive others as we want to be forgiven and sin no more.

Well, I'm disappointed, but still looking for next weekend. I just wanted to cry and ask why he hadn't come for us yet? I really feel that we should be praying for protection. Now, on to the subject of my e-mail... I don't know if this is right or not, but I was reading the Bible last night and noticed there was a huge earthquake at the 6th seal (after all the different colored horses, etc) and then after that is when John saw the multitude in white robes. Wouldn't we experience this huge earthquake just before we're taken up in the first rapture? You'll have to forgive me if I'm mistaken, I'm not really learn-ed on these things. Thanks for reminding me how to pray right now. I stopped and prayed not only for protection for myself, but for all of you.

As for conditions matching those at the second Rapture, I don't think so. That is the Day of God's Wrath. They are escaping as the catastrophic events of that day begin to come to pass. Rev. 6:12-14 says, "there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll..."

This is when men can see the Sign of the Son of Man. It seems that those like Thomas, that have to see him, finally believe that he is risen from the dead, and call him their Lord and their God. The rest run for the rocks to hide. Rev. 6:16,17 says, "And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?"

Luke 17:32-24 says, "Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left." In that day, the wrong thing to do, try to save your own skin, will seem to make the most sense to fallen man. There is only one name given among man by which we can be saved, that of Jesus Christ. He is Lord and God. In a time of testing, then and now, we must make it clear which side we are on.

still there? i hope so. looks like this date thing is problematic. oh well, the images your books paint are really cool. jesus is definitely king, he is coming and we need to be ready. walking with him is so easy when we allow his stength to work through us. as far as the rapture, i pray his stength will be with me upon his return, i don't want to be left behind. as for you, i pray the content of your books is received without regard to the dates. people may say, ahhhhh, if the dates are wrong, then what else?

i think we're all chickens when it comes to thinking of our death. we treat it in the same way the 21st century has treated illness, with scientific abandon. that is, "well i'm going to die, but it won't happen today." "science will save me, should i become ill etc. etc."

the wages of sin is death. we will reap what we sow. these are disturbing phrases when we view them from a sinful state; however, these phrases are very calming when viewed from a santified state. we want to avoid death and we want to sow good seed. from that perspective, death becomes something in god's control. the rapture would be our only hope to escape the physical act of death. that would be nice, i hope it will happen to me, somehow though, i'm not counting on it.

This is when we should keep our faith strong. We don't want to be counted among the foolish virgins. Aren't we tested at every upward step? This is really the giant step for mankind. We should expect to be tested--and should pass the test with FLYING colors.

The 21st of June is just a few days away and I have been reading your latest ProCons. I was struck by the post by that person who wrote "talk about clutching at straws" or words to that effect.

You mentioned that you will stay awake.

The parable of the ten virgins then entered my mind. The bridegroom arrived after ALL the virgins fell asleep. If there is a parallelism between that parable and the Rapture, it looks to me like not all the virgins have fallen asleep. Afterall, Marilyn, you are wide awake.

Could it be possible that Christ will come only after both the wise and foolish virgins have fallen asleep? Wondering

P.S. Since June 21 is three seven-days away from May 31, why not count June 28 in also (three seven-days away from June 7)? Just curious....

It's certainly possible to sleep physically. I intend to stay awake, but know that "the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak" (in more ways than one, my back was out of place just about all morning and still had to keep an appointment). I could not stay awake May 30th or last night, June 15. Both times I meant to take a short nap and get up and work. Both times, I awoke the next morning still in my clothes.

Re: sleeping. In Mt. 26,36f, Jesus told Peter and the two sons of Zebedee to "watch with me." He came back and they were asleep. He went away again to pray, came back and they were asleep again. Jesus said to Peter, "What, could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation (trial, i.e., the Tribulation). "He went away again the second time," came back and found them asleep. "And he left them...the third time, saying the same words. Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand."

If I go to sleep, I'll just have to trust the Lord to shout loud enough to wake me up. In my waking hours, I won't give up watching. Rev. 3:3, Jesus says, "If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee." I intend to watch no matter how long it takes.

When I got home, a FAX had come in. I haven't had time to digest it well, but I take it that he thinks the 40 days of rain in Noah's day can indicate that it will be 40 days. On the surface, that makes sense because the number 40 means testing and probation. However, I keep thinking of Song of Solomon 2:11: "winter is past." It doesn't say that spring is past. Someone called the other day and said that in Israel, there was just summer and winter. That doesn't seem right for the words for former rain and latter rain, both in Greek and Hebrew, if I remember right, mean autumn showering and gathered spring rain.

Another thing, if it were 40 days, then it would not be on Sunday, which I think Rev. 1:10 indicates. June 28 would, at least, be on Sunday, but summer would have already begun. If it is to be in the spring, June 21 is the last day this year that it could happen in spring. It makes more sense to me than the others. See how it stacks up to you.

Jesus asked Peter if he loved him three times. I am hoping for a spring Rapture, when the season is FULFILLED, June 21. It's still spring on 21st in Israel until 5:00 PM.

I'm wondering what you think of this, because I'm starting to wonder if there will really be a pre-trib rapture. Although I know he wants to protect his Bride, do you think he will really take her out before any calamities strike at all? I know we would be protected through it, but I'm beginning to think we may have to endure "something". I have a strong feeling we should be praying for protection and strength as I mentioned in my last e-mail (the one about a great earthquake before Rapture I). Please argue with this point so that I can believe otherwise, because of course, I would like to escape out of "everything"! With love

Noah was not in the water. He floated above the Flood. Israel crossed over dry-shod. They did not swim through the water. The Hebrew children were called up out of the fiery furnace.

In Daniel's case, it was the lions that were restrained, just as the appearance of the wicked one is being restrained today because we are still here.

Yes. I think the Bride will be taken up before the Tribulation starts, and I think it will start on the Feast of Weeks in 2001. What we have to endure is this testing period right now. Yes, we should be praying for protection and strength. Rev. 3:8,10 says, "thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name....Because thou hast kept the word of my PATIENCE, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation (pierasmos, trial), which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."

The Philadelphians have no condemnation mentioned against them, and they are the ones before whom the open door is set (Rev. 3:8).

Keep on hanging on to your faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ.

A Moment in TIME
I have enjoyed and appreciate your web site. I have been experiencing the challenge and disappointments of Waiting and Watching.

We have waited seven days and yet another and yet another.

If 1000 planetary years is but ONE DAY to Our Lord, and assuming there is 24 hours in that Day, then One Second to Our Lord is the equivalent to 3.65 planetary days.

Thus while we wait seven days it maybe the equivalent of but two seconds to Our Lord. I don't know that such is a valid comparison, but it places our Waiting and Watching into another perspective.

God is never late and the Creation unfolds to His Time Schedule.

It is also understandable why the Bible has made it so difficult to fully comprehend the hour and day of His Return and of the Rapture. Yet we can understand when that will be, for the Holy Spirit reveals it to us as a Church or Community of Believers, the Chosen, the Elect. Waiting and Watching all together we are discovering the Hour and Day of Revelations Prophecy.

The Holy Spirit tells my Spirit-Soul that you have correctly set the dates for the next ten years of end time events.

Who are we to be anxious and/or lose faith if the Bridegroom tarries but mere seconds, according to our timepiece, for after all His Clock runs on Divine Time.

I agree. I am committed to doggedly watching and waiting, and by God's grace nothing can disuade or stop me. As I said before, long ago I decided to be a fool for Christ, and if a fool I had rather be an expectant fool and wrong than a cynical fool and right.

Thanks. I had said that I would rather be a fool for Christ than to be caught not watching. I guess we are kindred spirits. I'm hanging in there for the long haul too.

There is some interesting stuff coming in. I get it posted as soon as I can manage in my busy schedule. People are watching and searching the scriptures as they should. Now, those love the Lord. They are proving it, looking for the weightier things. They trust him to do the best thing in every situation whether we understand it or not. They do not get discouraged. They keep on watching as we were commanded.

Well, with all these visions and dreams of three, I really think you all may have hit upon it! I'm looking forward to this weekend and I can't wait to meet you and the others who have been corresponding with you in the Pros and Cons. Won't it be wonderful to greet each other and say that we were together in waiting for this glorious event? I was wondering actually who this delay was intended to sift out? Do you know of many that lost faith after May 31st and never gave your website another thought? And what about all the people who never knew about the site or your book? Were they given a wake up call? I'm sure anyone who truly loves the Lord was always looking for his coming, regardless if they had a wake up call or not. I think the Lord will reward us for waiting patiently. But to be honest with you, I don't care about any rewards, I just want to be near him.

Yesterday, I could feel His presence as I was outside, and I looked up at the clear blue sky and closed my eyes and felt a strong breeze come. It felt as if I could just fly away up to him ( it's amazing the tricks the mind can play on you ;-). I just can't wait to hear him calling us and to be in his arms! But, if this doesn't happen, I know that he is calling us to be warriors for him and a way to salvation for others during times of trouble, so I will be strong and ready to help others. I would be very proud to do that for him.

I hope you are feeling okay! Just remember that you will have a new glorified body when we finally meet! :) I owe you many thanks because I wouldn't have even known how close it was until I came across your book.

I have to admit that I always knew the Lord was coming back in my life time. Even at 12 years old. Odd, huh? My parents didn't send me to church for much of my life, although they loved the Lord, but I remember reading the Bible when I was little and trying to understand Revelation. Which is kinda strange in itself when I look back on it. I also always told people I wouldn't live to see my late twenties. I had always felt the Lord would come back (via Rapture or Armageddon) before I made it to thirty. I actually hope I'm right! And I'll be 25 in August! Finally, what is your understanding about the parable of the Good Samaritan? I have heard something about that being linked to Jesus' return. The Samaritan gives the inn keeper 2 pence, which could signify 2 days wages or 2000 years, until he comes again. Do you have any comments about that?

New American Standard - Luke 10
v30 - A certain man (Adam), was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho (called the bloody way) ; and he fell among robbers, and they stripped him (#1.robbed him - finances taken away) and beat him ( #2. physical harm - need for healing) and went off leaving him half- dead (spiritually dead) - " the three ways satan attacks us.
v31 - And by chance a certain priest ( old testament laws) was going down on that road, and when he saw him he passed on the other side.
v32 - And likewise a Levite ( ceremonial laws) also, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the opposite side.
v33 - But a certain Samaritan (Jesus), who was on a journey (not by chance), came upon him him, and when he saw him, he felt compassion,
v34 - and came to him, and bandaged up his wounds (provided healing), pouring oil ( new birth) and wine (in-filling of the Spirit) on him; and he put him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn ( "the"church) and took care of him,
v35 - and on the next day he took out two denarii ( one denarii = one day¹s wage - 1day = 1,000 years) and gave them to the inn-keeper (Holy Spirit) and said, " Take care of him; and whatever more youspend when I return, I will repay you."

Will Jesus come back in 2,000 years?

This was from notes I (Charlene S. Knowles) took from a preacher (Jan Butler) about 10 years ago. I am sorry I never got the tape. Certainly something to think about.

Thanks. The only thing that doesn't seem likely is the 2000 years.

Stay ready and awake. It seems that we are being tested by Satan--as sifted like wheat.
