Rare Jesus Coins found near sea of Galilee, by Jerry Barach
(DFJ-Sept/Oct 99) Rare coins bearing the likeness of Jesus that were discovered near the Sea of Galilee can now be seen in a special exhibit at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Institute of Archaeology....
The coins, some with inscriptions in Greek such as "Jesus the Messiah, the King of Kings" and "Jesus, the Messiah, the Victor," were found last fall in archaeological excavations in Israel...at the site of ancient Tiberias...Among the some 1,000 bronze items that were found at the time were 82 coins. It was only later examination of those coins which revealed the magnitude of the discovery. The examination showed that 58 of them bore the likeness of Jesus, some with inscriptions....The coins were minted over a period from the second half of the 10th century to the second half of the 11th centuries, he said....The items were found in three large clay pots hidden under the floor of a structure....
"'Recently, a jar was discovered in Israel. On the jar is written the word 'Shabbat'. According to the article, this jar contained the extra oil needed to keep the lamp burning on God's Sabbaths. The small, everyday lamp, only contained enough oil for ONE day. Because adding oil to a lamp was forbidden on the Sabbath, this jar with extra oil was used. The lamp was placed in the centre piece and the wick hung down into the jar thus feeding the burning wick in the lamp, even after the oil in the lamp itself was used up. With this extra oil, the lamps continued to burn right into the Sabbath. It was this jar the five foolish virgins did not have - the jar that represented God's Sabbaths! Keeping God's appointed times are a rehearsal for when the Bridegroom comes to take his virgin Bride into his Sabbath rest."
Following this line of thinking, if the Bridegroom came on Saturday, the foolish virgins would not have been able to "buy" more oil until the next day. That makes a Saturday Rapture seem more likely, doesn't it? If the lamp holds one day's oil, Friday's, the lamp would begin to sputter as the Sabbath began. Thus on Friday, the foolish virgin's lamp would burn, but by Saturday, the oil would be about gone on the very day that they could not buy more oil. It sure seems to fit the parable.
The parable of the ten virgins may be meant to give us this clue to a Sabbath Rapture. If so, then "the Lord's day" in the Preview of the Rapture in Rev. 1:10 would be Saturday. Jesus said he was Lord of the Sabbath. Agape

I just went to the site you have in P&C 522. Because I am an engineer, I can read contour topography maps. The Figure 11 of the templemount.org site is EXACTLY what I saw in the dream of Saturday. The temple however was rotated 90 degrees on the site. What is incredible is that I have seen the site from frontal view many times, but this is the first time I have ever seen a plan (overhead view). I could not possibly have known what the topography was like, so I could not possibly have injected this into the dream I had. The reason I wanted to share this, is that I want to forward all the encouragement I possibly can to all the Spirit Filled Believers. It seems to me that Jesus Christ is standing right at the door right now today! Things seem to be strangely quiet in the news about Israel right now. Agape
Isa. 16:5 says, "And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness."
Amos 9:11 says, "In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old."
Acts 15:16 says, "After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up." Agape
No one I personally know will embrace the theory of two raptures, or our ability to specifically time them. Whenever I discuss it with someone, I'm newly amazed at how many people are prisoners of traditional interpretations and the often parroted verse, "no man knows the day or the hour...". As you have patiently learned (and what patience!), you cannot argue someone out of their preconceptions, no matter how strong your scriptural evidence. No wonder most people did not recognize the Lord when he walked among us!
One quick question, insofar as God gives us great detail as to the date on which Noah and his family entered the ark, does that date information correlate in any way to a Pentecost Rapture?...

Isn't it strange how many people really don't know what the Bible says? They read the newspaper though, and have time to watch TV.

Not that I can detect. Since it was before the Sacred Calendar started at the Exodus, the 2nd month, 17th day was Cheshvan 17. Even if you figured it on the Sacred Calendar, it would be Iyar 17, not Sivan 6 or 7.
According to the information in Gen. 7 and 8, the Ark rested on Nisan 17. The waters decreased until Tamuz 1. The waters were dried up from off the face of the earth on Tishri 1, when the cover of the Ark was removed. The Earth was dried on Cheshvan 27, when they left the Ark.
The Ark represents Christ, our Saviour. Nisan 17 is the day after his resurrection. He probably did rest that day. He went to Heaven and back the day before.
The only other date there that really says anything to me is Tishri 1. Think of Tishri 1 on the Day of God's Wrath when you read Gen. 8:13. Remember that water is a symbol of the Holy Spirit too. It says, "the waters were dried up from off the earth." I think Tishri 1 is the day of the Pre-Wrath Rapture. At that time, every believer will be removed from the Earth. And, "behold, the face of the ground was dry."
Also, "Noah removed the covering of the ark." I think that Tishri 1 is the day the Sign of the Son of Man (Mt. 24:30) is seen.
Rev. 6:14-17 says, "the heaven (atmospheric heavens) departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from THE FACE of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath OF THE LAMB: For the great day of his wrath (Tishri 1) is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
On Tishri 1, "Noah removed the COVERING OF THE ARK" (Gen. 8:13). Isa. 25:7 says, "And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the COVERING cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people (Israel) shall he take away from off all the earth." Gog's army attacking Israel will be stopped on the Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, I think Sept. 13, 2007. Agape

A trumpet will sound. I Thess. 4:16,17 says, "the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with THE TRUMP OF GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
Rev. 1:10 says, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice (Christ's), as of a TRUMPET." This is the Preview of the Pre-Trib Rapture.
Rev. 4:1 says, "behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a TRUMPET talking with me; which said, COME UP HITHER." This is the Pre-Trib Rapture.
Psa. 47:5 says, "God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a TRUMPET."
Isa. 18:3-6 says, " All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a TRUMPET, hear ye For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. For AFORE THE HARVEST, when the bud is perfect, and the SOUR GRAPE IS RIPENING in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and TAKE AWAY (Philadelphians?) and cut down the branches (Laodiceans?). They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall SUMMER upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them." The grapes begin to ripen at the end of May or early June, in the SPRING. Pentecost fits this time. It is the only feast that does.
When are trumpets to sound? Nu. 10:1-4 says, "the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee TWO TRUMPETS of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. And when they shall blow with them (both), ALL (as in I Cor. 15:51,52) the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And if they blow but with ONE trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee." This FIRST TRUMP corresponds to I Thess. 4:13-18. The SECOND TRUMP is also the "LAST TRUMP" and corresponds with I Cor. 15:51,52.
The FIRST TRUMP of the Bible sounded at Sinai around Pentecost. The first mention of anything in the Bible is usually significant. Ex. 19:13 says, "when the TRUMPET soundeth long, they shall COME UP to the mount." Mt. Sinai represented Heaven. Verse 16 says, "on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the TRUMPET exceeding loud." Ex. 20:18 says, "And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the TRUMPET, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off." AFAR is also used to indicate Heaven. This can be a shadow.
Nu. 10:10 says, "Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets." Trumpets are blown on all the 7 feasts and as each month begins.
Jos. 6:5 says, "And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the TRUMPET, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city (Jericho) shall fall down flat, and the people shall ASCEND UP every man straight before him." This seems to pre-figure the Pre-Wrath Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets.
Eze. 7:14 says, "They have blown the TRUMPET, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my WRATH is upon all the multitude thereof." This is the Feast of Trumpets.
Joel 2:1 says, "Blow ye the TRUMPET in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand." The millennial Day of the Lord arrives on Tishri 1, the Feast of Trumpets.
Zech. 9:14 says, "And the LORD shall be seen over them (the Sign of the Son of Man, Mt. 24:30; Rev. 6: 14f), and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD GOD SHALL BLOW THE TRUMPET, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south." This is the "LAST TRUMP," the Pre-Wrath Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets that begins the Millennium.
I Cor. 15:52 says, "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed" (made immortal). Agape
But otherwise, how is next years calendar? Would the 10 days be from the starting point of tribulation to Pentecost? Then believers would see "the beast", but the 10 kings would not necessarily have received their crowns yet. Also all believers would see the forming of OWG and UR, and thus be forewarned.
Do you see Pentecost 2001 a possibility?

I think the 2300 days of the shortened Tribulation, and the 70th week of Daniel, will begin on the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost in 2001. The 2300 days of Dan. 8:14 fit exactly, counted by Jewish inclusive reckoning, from the Feast of Weeks in 2001 to the Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 13, 2007. That is 14 years from when the Oslo Accords were signed Sept. 13, 1993, and 7 years from when the Final Status Peace Treaty is to be signed, on Sept. 13, 2000. That gives us the 7 good years and 7 bad years. Joseph took up the grain in the 7 good years. To me, it seems that those good years will end Sept. 13, 2000.
If we back up 10 days from the beginning of the Tribulation, it would be Ascension Day, a possibility season-wise, but a trumpet did not blow on Jesus' Ascension Day. A trumpet sounds at the Rapture, and the first trumpet of the Bible, the TRUMPET OF GOD, sounded at Sinai around Pentecost. It makes good sense for the FIRST TRUMPET OF GOD to sound on Pentecost now.
I still think this Pentecost seems the most likely. We are told to watch. Those really watching should know about the UR and OWG now. Our Pres. Clinton is in a "progressive governance" conference in Germany today, Sat., June 3. The news says the following nations are also there. I went to the web site. It was pretty good. Rapture Two was even in there, a nice surprise.
Here are a few things I differ on. Instead of God's Wrath being the 2nd 3.5 years, I think it is one day, the Feast of Trumpets that begins the millennial Day of the Lord, day 2300 of the Tribulation.
Some of the titles given for the rider on the white horse of Rev. 6, I think belong to the False Prophet of Rev. 13:11-18 instead of to the first Beast. They are Little Horn, Man of Sin, Prince who is to come, and the wicked of 2 Thess 2.
Rather than the prince of Dan. 9 being from the EEC, I think he is probably a Jew of the tribe of Dan. His link with the Romans is probably because he ends up being head of the United Religions as well as the One World Government. He is probably Pontifex Maximus of the Roman Catholic Church too, because he takes all the power of the first Beast (Rev. 13:12), who I think is the Pope. This will complete a line of Pontifex Maximus' from the Tower of Babel to the final Mystery Babylon head quartered at literal Babylon (Zech. 5:11). The False Prophet is the king that "shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished" in Dan. 11:36. He will be deposed from office on the Day of God's Wrath. At that time, Satan himself becomes the "eighth" (Rev. 17:11) and operates on his own until chained at the end of Armageddon. Agape
Bill Singleton (4 June, "Shavuot and Ezekiel 1"
According to my Hebrew calendar, the reading for Shavuot, June 9th includes Ezekiel 1:1-28. Note the text of verse 1:
"Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God."
This is the only time in the Old Testament that the phrase "the heavens were opened" is used. Could this be an indication that Shavuot will be the time when the door of Revelation 4:1 will be opened?
"After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."
There are other parallels between Ezekiel 1 and Revelation 4 as well. The four living creatures that are described in Ezekiel 1 are the same creatures that are referred to as four beasts in Revelation 4. In Ezekiel 1:26 to 28 we have a description of the throne in heaven:

And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake."
This description is similar to that given in Revelation 4:2 to 3: "And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald."
***I think Christ's throne is on Saturn. Sapphire means dear to the planet Saturn. It has "brightness round about" and "a rainbow round about the throne" (i.e., Saturn's 7 rings echo a rainbow's 7 color bands; and both are made up of sunlight on ice crystals). I capitalized "sapphire" above so you could pick it out easily.
The Hebrew word for rapture, shalhuv, is found in Ezekiel 1 at an ELS of 100. Perhaps this is symbolic of Psalm 100 which represents the year 2000. The amazing thing about all of this is the fact that the only day of the year when the Hebrew calendar calls for the reading of Ezekiel 1 is Shavuot 1 which is June 9th of this year. Is it a coincidence that the door in heaven, Auriga, will be in conjunction with the planet Venus on that day? I hope not. We may be almost home.
***Saturday, Sivan 7, June 10 is also Shavuot/Pentecost. It is kept 2 days.
***We are now in the sign of Gemini. It is the symbol of Christ and his Bride seated together in heavenly places on the ecliptic. I hope the thing symbolized, i.e., the Rapture and being seated with Christ in Heaven, becomes reality this Pentecost.
***Eph. 2:6 says, "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus."
