Mystery on the Temple Mount during the Six Day War
On the day of the liberation of the Temple Mount during the Six Day War of 1967, a mysterious event occurred. As Gershon Salomon and the soldiers were walking on the Temple Mount, someone dressed in civilian clothing suddenly appeared.
He approached the group speaking English and told them that he had come to show them the location of the Temple and its complex on the Temple Mount. He immediately took the group back to the Dome of the Rock, where they stood shortly before with tears in their eyes at the moment of the liberation. He showed the group the site of their Temple, the rock of Abraham and Isaac and the Holy of Holies, the altar, and the Cave of the Spirits.
He also explained the function of every place in the Temple complex. He was very excited when he spoke to them and repeatedly blessed the group for the godly liberation of the Temple Mount, as he put it. He told the group that they should immediately rebuild the Temple because that is why G-d had brought Israel back to the Temple Mount with such a great victory.
The group asked the man who he was, and he replied that he was an Arab guide for the Temple Mount. However, he did not look like either an Arab or a guide.
The group asked him why he had not spoken about the history of Arab occupation on the Temple Mount. He said that he had been sent by G-d to tell the group that the history of the Arab occupation of the Temple Mount, Jerusalem, and all the land had passed away forever; it was time to rebuild the Temple in the same location as the First and Second Temples, which he had indicated that day. All this was told to all the Arabs and Moslems by their elders and was even written in their holy books.
They knew that one day, in G-d's timing, it would come to pass and that time had arrived so Israel should do what G-d was expecting her to do and G-d would be with her as He always was and also had been in the victory which He had just given her.
When the stranger finished speaking, he suddenly disappeared as if he had been blown away by a wind; he was not seen again. All the group were sure that this mysterious "person" was an angel sent by G-d to tell Israel that He was expecting her to immediately rebuild the Temple, to renew the days of Israel as it was in the Biblical times , and to open the door for the coming of Mashiach ben David. Gershon will never forget this event.

3. Psalm 104 could refer to 2004 AD when Leviathan (Satan or the Antichrist) will appear. Dan. 9:27 mentioned that "in the middle of the week", he shall bring an end to the sacrifice and offering". Does it mean that the Great Tribulation will end in 2007 (or 2008)?

I think the final Antichrist is the Satan-possessed False Prophet, the one who speaks "as a dragon" in Rev. 13:11. He comes up out of the "earth," which I take to mean eretz Israel. I expect him to be a Jew from the tribe of Dan.
The beast that comes up out of the sea (nations, Rev. 17:15) in Rev. 13 is essentially the "great red dragon" of Rev. 12:3.4. It says, " And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and SEVEN CROWNS upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth." The difference is that in 12:3, the emphasis is on the dragon (Satan) and the time is Mid-Trib, when the 7th head of World Government is crowned. The 7th head is the False Prophet of Rev. 13:11-18.
The dragon himself represents Satan. However, his heads represent the Satan-energized OWGs (One World Governments) he sets up, (1) Babel, (2) Babylon, (3) Media-Persia, (4) Greece, (5) Rome, (6) OWG headed up by the Beast, and (7) OWG headed up by the False Prophet.
In Rev. 17:3, we also see the great red dragon. There John "saw a woman (harlot church, United Religions) sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy (all 7 heads bear the title Pontifex Maximus), having seven heads and ten horns. Rev. 17:9-11says, "here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains (world empires), on which the woman (Mystery Religion of Babylon) sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is (the Tribulation Pope, the Beast of Rev. 13:2-10), and the other (the False Prophet) is not yet come; and when he cometh (Mid-Trib), he must continue a SHORT SPACE (this is where the 1260-day last half of the Tribulation gets shortened to 1040 days, Dan. 8:14). And the beast (Satan) that was (in Judas Iscariot), and is not (in man until he enters into the False Prophet Mid-Trib), even he is the eighth (the tail of the great red dragon), and is of the seven (gives the 7 heads their position and power), and goeth into perdition."
In Rev. 13:1, the 6th head comes to power and the 10 kings that are subordinate to him are crowned. The time is the beginning of the Tribulation. In v. 5, the 6th head is to rule 42 months, or 1260 days, the 1st half of the Tribulation.
Rev. 13:1-4 says, " I stood upon the sand of the sea (nations), and saw a beast rise up out of the sea (nations), having seven heads and ten horns, and UPON HIS HORNS TEN CROWNS, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy (Pontifex Maximus). And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard (Greece, Dan. 7:6), and his feet were as the feet of a bear (Media-Persia, Dan. 7:5), and his mouth as the mouth of a lion (Babylon, Dan. 7:4): and the dragon (Satan) gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads (5th, Rome) as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed (the power of the Roman Empire was transferred to the Popes): and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast (the Tribulation Pope): and they WORSHIPPED the beast (the Pope), saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?" He will be made head over the OWG (One World Government) and the UR (United Religions). He is the Beast who comes in at the beginning of the Tribulation as a prince of peace riding "a white horse" and holding a fabric "bow," a symbol showing that he is a man of the cloth (Rev. 6:2).
Rev. 13:5-10 says, "there was given unto him (the Tribulation Pope) a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months (1st 1260 days of the Tribulation). And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven (those that were caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture). And it was given unto him to make war with the saints (the foolish Laodicean virgins who were left behind), and to overcome them (many will be martyrs): and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations (head of the OWG and the UR, United Religions). And all that dwell upon the earth shall WORSHIP him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (pagan religions in the UR). If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."
Therefore, I think the Beast is the Tribulation Pope, and the False Prophet is the Satan-POSSESSED final Antichrist. Isn't the word POSSESSED descriptive of that HISSING SNAKE, Satan? We find their fate in Rev. 19:20: "the BEAST was taken, and with him the FALSE PROPHET that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."

I expect the 70th week of Daniel (the Tribulation) to begin on the Feast of Weeks in 2001 and run for 2520 days, ending on the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Apr. 20, 2008. I think the shortened Tribulation will end on the 2300th day, the Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 13, 2007. At that time, the False Prophet will be deposed from office. It is the Day of God's Wrath. From that point to the full end, Satan will operate on his own as "the eighth." I expect the Judgment of the Nations to take place right after the 2520 final days of Satan's dominion end, for Christ will have returned Nisan 1, Apr. 6, 2008. Dominion will be taken from Satan and Armageddon will begin. It is Satan's last ditch stand, his forces against Christ's.
Rev. 19:11-20:3 sketches the time from the Second Advent to the chaining of Satan. Christ comes, "and in righteousness he doth judge and make war....And the armies which were in heaven followed him...And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God." John saw Satans army,"the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet...both were cast alive into a lake of fire." So both the Beast and False Prophet will be done away with at that point. Then Satan will be chained. True peace will then come to this tortured planet.
Other than this, I don't know who the Beast and False Prophet are. The Holy Spirit is hindering the appearance of the False Prophet until after we are gone (II Thess. 2:6-8). Then both men will be revealed when they confirm the 7-year covenant. However, whoever the Beast is, I think he will be in office as Pontifex Maximus when the Pre-Trib Rapture takes place. Rev. 1710-14 says, " there are seven kings: five are fallen, and ONE IS (the Pope), and the other (the False Prophet) is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received NO KINGDOM AS YET (at the Rapture); but receive power as kings one hour with the beast (as the Tribulation starts). These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are WITH HIM (the ones caught up in the 1st Rapture) are called, and chosen, and faithful." ONE QUESTION, for those who continue to disbelieve the literal and obivious statements in the Word, could ONE OF YOU please explain to me what that passage of Scripture DOES MEAN, if in fact, Babylon is NOT going to be rebuilt?...
I think the 7 empires of Rev. 17:10 are (1) Babel, (2) Babylon, (3) Media-Persia, (4) Greece, (5) Rome (those 5 have fallen, the next one is in power at the Pre-Trib Rapture, but the 10 kings have not yet received their kingdom, Rev. 17:12), (6) the Beast (Pope) , and (7) Mid-Trib, OWG and UR with False Prophet heading them up. I think the name of blasphemy mentioned in Rev. 13:1 is Pontifex Maximus. It was conferred upon the leaders of all these empires, from Nimrod on down. The head of the Mystery Religion of Babylon was the Pontifex Maximus. Agape
If you hold stedfastly to a 40-year period, then it is apparent that from June 1967 to June 2007 is the period in question. So the "rapture" should have been in June, or at the latest, in July.
Jesus said we would not know the day or the hour. He also said that He was coming back after the tribulation. He did not say He was coming back before it. No one else did either.
I hope that you would consider that the One who is coming back gave a very straightforward answer (Matthew 24:29) to a simple question (Matthew 24:3).

Maybe for you, not for me. In Mt. 23:36, Jesus told the Pharisees in 30 AD, "all these things shall come upon this generation." They did, in 70 AD. From Nisan 8 in 30 AD, when Jesus came to Bethany the day before Palm Sunday to Av 10 in 70 AD, when the temple was burned, was 40 years plus another 120 days. Likewise, in our days, from Iyar 28 in 1967, when the temple area was regained, to Tishri 1, 5768 (Sept. 13, 2007) is 40 years plus another 120 days. Thus, for me, "the period" runs from June 7, 1967 to Sept. 13, 2007.
Scripture agrees. We know that the millennial Day of the Lord will begin on Tishri 1, the Feast of Trumpets. Mal. 2:3 says, "your solemn FEASTS; and ONE shall take you away with it." Joel 2:1-20 says, " Blow ye the TRUMPET in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the DAY OF THE LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of THICK DARKNESS, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong (Gog's army is attacking Israel, Eze. 38); there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it....And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the DAY OF THE LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?... Blow the TRUMPET (it is the Feast of Trumpets, 1st day of the millennial Day of the Lord) in Zion, sanctify a fast (the coming Day of Atonement), call a solemn assembly ('general assembly...in heaven,' Heb. 12:23): Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the ELDERS (who were caught up to Heaven in the Pre-Trib Rapture), gather the children, and those that suck the breasts (the Pre-Wrath Rapture): let the bridegroom (Christ) go forth of his chamber, and the bride (Bride of Christ) out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD...Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people....I will remove far off from you the NORTHERN ARMY, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate."
Mk. 13:27 speaks of this gathering to the "GENERAL ASSEMBLY." It says, "then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (the Pre-Wrath Rapture) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN (those that were caught up in the Pre-Trib Rapture)."

Be careful. In Lu. 21:36, JESUS SAID, "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be ACCOUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." In Rev. 3:10, JESUS SAID, "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee FROM (ek. out of) the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."

In Mt. 24:29-31, JESUS said, "Immediately after the tribulation (the Great Tribulation) of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken (6th seal, Rev. 6:12-17): And then shall appear the SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a TRUMPET (the 'last trump,' I Cor. 15:51,52), and they shall gather together his ELECT from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other." This is the gathering to the "general assembly, Heb. 12:23) of all that are ALREADY in HEAVEN. They were taken up in the Pre-Trib Rapture.
This is also the time of the 2nd Rapture, the Pre-Wrath Rapture. In Mk. 13:27, JESUS said, "And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH (the Pre-Wrath Rapture) to the uttermost part of HEAVEN" (those caught up previously in the Pre-Trib Rapture).
All the saints are called "To the GENERAL ASSEMBLY and church of the firstborn, which are written in HEAVEN, and to God the JUDGE of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect" (Heb. 12:23) on that day. The Judgment Seat of Christ is ready to convene. First, there is "silence in HEAVEN about the space of half an hour" (Rev. 8:1) while the Judge is being seated. Hab. 2:20 also commands, "the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the EARTH keep silence before him." The silence is both in Heaven and Earth.
Rev. 11:18 explains what is happening. It says, "And the nations were angry (Gog's army is attacking Israel), and thy wrath (Day of God's Wrath) is come (to stop Gog's army), and the time of the dead, that they should be JUDGED, and that thou shouldest give REWARD unto thy servants the prophets, and TO THE SAINTS, and them that fear thy name, SMALL AND GREAT; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth" (with the 7 trumpet judgments).
Counting backward from the Feast of Trumpets in 2007, by Jewish inclusive reckoning, the 2300 days of Dan. 8:14 (the shortened Tribulation), we find that the 70th week of Daniel (the Tribulation) will probably start on the Feast of Weeks in 2001. I expect the Pre-Trib Rapture to take place by that time.
Mt. 24:3 says, "And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world (suntelias tou aionos, CONSUMMATION OF THE AGE)?"
This age ends as the millennial Day of the Lord begins. From Mt. 24:28-31, Jesus is talking about the last day of this age, THE CONSUMMATION OF THE AGE. He said, "wheresoever the carcase (body, i.e., the Body of Christ) is (in Heaven), there will the eagles (Tribulation saints) be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened (6th seal, Rev. 6:12), and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the SIGN of the Son of man in heaven (Rev. 6:14): and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a TRUMPET (the 'last trump,' I Cor. 15:51,52), and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of HEAVEN to the other."
Type: Ex. 19:4 says, "Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on EAGLE'S WINGS, and BROUGHT YOU UNTO MYSELF." Agape
The Pre-Trib Rapture precedes the revealing of the False Prophet, the wicked one. He and the Beast will be revealed when they confirm the covenant as the Tribulation starts. And yes, we are part of what hinders his appearance. We are the salt of the Earth. Salt in breadmaking has to be measured very carefully. Too much and the loaf won't rise. Too little and it overproofs. Actually, the Holy Spirit in us is restraining his appearance. After the Pre-Trib Rapture, there will not be enough salt left to keep him from being revealed.
II Thess. 2:1-9 says, "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him (the Pre-Trib Rapture), That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ (almost all major MSS have day of the Lord, i.e., the Millennium) is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away (apostasia, the departure, as translated in early Bibles) first (i.e., the Pre-Trib Rapture must come first), and that man of sin (the Satan-possessed False Prophet) be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God (Mid-Trib). Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what (the Holy Spirit within us) withholdeth that he (the False Prophet)might be revealed in his time (the Tribulation). For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let (Old English for hindereth will hinder), until he be taken out of the way (he will cease to hinder at the Pre-Trib Rapture). And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders."
Early Bibles that translated "apostasia" as the departure are The Geneva Bible, Tyndale's translation, Cranmer's version, the Great Bible, Breecher's Bible, Beza's translation and the Coverdale Bible.
Apostacion is divorcement, where there is a separation. Apospao is draw away, so departure is correct. I think the Day of the Lord begins on the 2300th day of the Tribulation. The Pre-Wrath Rapture takes place that day, but II Thess. 2 is talking about the Pre-Trib Rapture. It comes before the False Prophet is revealed as he confirms the covenant at the beginning of the Tribulation. Agape
